Our Story

The story behind Faaji

We built Faaji because we were tired of searching for a taste of home and never finding it. Between long days at the office and life pulling us in every direction, the only options were bland, forgettable meals that left us craving something real. No jollof, no egusi, no pepper soup — just disappointment. One too many sad desk lunches later, we decided enough was enough. If no one was going to bring authentic Nigerian food to our door, we'd do it ourselves. Faaji was born from that hunger — for flavour, for culture, and for the food we actually want to eat.
